 CELL MEMBRANE BIOPHYSICS

I apply concepts from physics, biology, chemistry, computer science and mathematics to study the organization, structure and function of cell membranes.

To understand the inner workings of complex environments like those created and maintained by cells, I also pursue fundamental questions about lipid membranes and their interactions with proteins.

Driven by specific scientific problems, I develop creative tools and approaches using a combination of theoretical, experimental and computational techniques.
